This Pepper Pike, Ohio remodel of a Mid-Century Modern home is coming together. The new roof structure and roofing membrane are in place and the floating deck is being installed.
Unlike the old rotted out terrace deck that was removed, this new decking system and the structure below, have been carefully designed to last. The deck is constructed of composite decking that will be floating on pedestals, allowing water to drain freely below. Integral drainage channels were constructed as well.
Along the perimeter of the new “tree-house” deck, will be a stainless steel cable railing. This will give the homeowners a clear uninterrupted view of the beautiful tree tops.
