Project Description
The homeowners wanted to update the second floor family bathroom of their 1920’s Cleveland Heights, Ohio, home from its original state. Harmoni Designs served as the architectural design pro to act as project manager to handle all aspects of the re-design. From architecture, interior design to construction management, Harmoni Designs put the clients’ fears to rest by serving as a single point of contact, taking them through the entire process from beginning to end.
Harmoni Designs presented several materials options including tile, fixtures, paint, and cabinetry and provided guidance on interior design choices. Once the major decisions were made about design, Martin Johannessen turned the schematic design options into construction drawings. These drawings were given to several contractors to provide accurate bids for construction.
Once the bids were in, Martin produced a very detailed schedule that was used to communicate and coordinate the project schedule with various contractors including the tile installer, plumber, electrician, painter, asbestos removal technician and carpenter.
The client summarizes succinctly in a trifecta of words: “We love it!”
